  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro or parsley chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Step 1. Prepare the Avocado
  2. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  3. Step 2. Add Cottage Cheese
  4. Add cottage cheese to the blender with the avocado.
  5. Step 3. Add Seasonings
  6. Add lemon or lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Step 4. Blend the Dip
  8. Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.
  9. Step 5. Adjust Flavor
  10. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more citrus for brightness.
  11. Step 6. Chill the Dip
  12. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for about 20–30 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
  13. Step 7. Serve
  14. Serve chilled with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables.
