Step 1. Prep the Drumsticks
- Remove drumsticks from the refrigerator 20 minutes before cooking. Pat them completely dry with paper towels.
Step 2. Season Thoroughly
- Place drumsticks in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Season evenly with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Step 3. Arrange for Baking
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and place a wire rack on top if using. Arrange drumsticks in a single layer with space between them.
Step 4. Bake Until Done
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the skin is golden and the internal temperature reaches 175–185°F.
Step 5. Rest and Serve
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
