Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Optional Add-ins:
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon butter for extra richness

Method
 

Step 1. Season Chicken
  1. Season chicken breasts evenly with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Step 2. Sear Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Step 3. Sauté Garlic
  1. In the same pan, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4. Make Sauce
  1. Pour in balsamic vinegar and honey. Stir and bring to a simmer.
Step 5. Reduce Sauce
  1. Cook the sauce for 3–5 minutes until it thickens slightly into a glaze.
Step 6. Finish Cooking Chicken
  1. Return chicken to the pan. Spoon sauce over it and cook for another 5–7 minutes until fully cooked.
Step 7. Add Final Touches
  1. Optional: add butter, herbs, or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor.
Step 8. Serve
  1. Serve hot with balsamic glaze drizzled on top.
