Step 1. Season Chicken
- Season chicken with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Step 2. Sear Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Step 3. Sauté Garlic
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4. Make Sauce
- Pour in balsamic vinegar and honey. Stir and bring to a simmer.
Step 5. Reduce Sauce
- Let the sauce cook for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 6. Cook Chicken in Sauce
- Return chicken to the pan. Spoon sauce over it and cook for 5–7 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
Step 7. Finish
- Optional: stir in butter for extra richness and add herbs or tomatoes.
Step 8. Serve
- Serve hot, drizzled with the balsamic glaze.
Notes
- Use good-quality balsamic vinegar for best flavor.
- Do not overcook chicken to keep it tender and juicy.
- Let the sauce reduce properly for a thicker glaze.
- Add a splash of water or broth if sauce becomes too thick.
- Chicken thighs can be used for a juicier result.
