Ingredients
  

For the Batter:
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon salt
Optional Add-ins:
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
For Optional Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Step 1. Preheat Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 2. Mash Bananas
  1. In a large bowl, mash ripe bananas until smooth with minimal lumps.
Step 3. Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
Step 4. Combine Dry Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 5. Make Batter
  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
Step 6. Add Extras (Optional)
  1. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
Step 7. Bake
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Step 8. Cool and Glaze
  1. Let the brownies cool completely. If using glaze, mix ingredients and drizzle over the top before slicing.
