Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

Method
 

Step 1. Preheat the Oven
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Step 2. Mash the Bananas
  1. Place ripe bananas in a bowl and mash them with a fork until mostly smooth.
Step 3. Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. Add melted butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.
Step 4. Combine Dry Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
Step 5. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir gently until just combined.
Step 6. Add Optional Mix-Ins
  1. Fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
Step 7. Bake the Bread
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 8. Cool and Serve
  1. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack before slicing.
