Step 1. Prepare the Beef
- In a bowl, toss sliced beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and cornstarch until evenly coated.
Step 2. Mix the Sauce
- In a small bowl, combine remaining soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and water.
Step 3. Heat the Pan
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
Step 4. Cook the Beef
- Add beef in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 5. Cook the Broccoli
- Add broccoli florets to the pan and stir fry for about 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
Step 6. Add Aromatics
- Stir in garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 7. Combine and Finish
- Return the beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
Step 8. Serve
- Top with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
