Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Pasta:
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
For the Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup bell peppers sliced, mixed colors
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning adjust to taste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional Add-ins:
  • ¼ teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Step 1. Cook Pasta
  1. Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2. Season Chicken
  1. Coat sliced chicken evenly with Cajun seasoning.
Step 3. Cook Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Step 4. Sauté Garlic and Peppers
  1. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add bell peppers and cook until slightly tender.
Step 5. Make Sauce
  1. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Step 6. Season Sauce
  1. Add Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Step 7. Combine
  1. Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the pan. Toss until evenly coated in sauce.
Step 8. Serve
  1. Garnish with parsley and optional chili flakes. Serve hot.
