Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken not extra-lean preferred
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or milk

Method
 

  1. Add ground chicken to a mixing bowl. Sprinkle in sage, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Add olive oil or milk to the bowl. Gently mix everything together just until combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into small breakfast patties.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease if needed.
  5. Place patties in the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.
