Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 6 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • ½ cup shaved or grated parmesan cheese
  • cup Caesar dressing adjust to taste
  • Optional: croutons lemon wedges

Equipment

  • Skillet or grill pan
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Tongs or spatula

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and fully cooked.
  4. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
  5. Add romaine lettuce to a large bowl.
  6. Drizzle with Caesar dressing and toss gently until lightly coated.
  7. Top with sliced chicken and parmesan cheese.
  8. Add croutons if using and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overdress; Caesar dressing is rich and a little goes a long way.
  • Warm chicken over cold romaine creates the best texture contrast.
  • For gluten-free, skip croutons or use certified gluten-free croutons.
