Ingredients
  

For the Protein:
  • 1 lb chicken breast cubed
  • ½ lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
For the Pasta:
  • 8 oz pasta fettuccine, penne, or linguine
For the Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Step 1. Cook Pasta
  1. Boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
Step 2. Cook Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until golden and fully cooked, then remove and set aside.
Step 3. Cook Shrimp
  1. In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Step 4. Make Garlic Sauce
  1. Melt butter in the skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Step 5. Add Cream and Cheese
  1. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
Step 6. Combine Everything
  1. Add cooked pasta, chicken, and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in sauce.
Step 7. Adjust Sauce
  1. Add reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency is reached.
Step 8. Garnish and Serve
  1. Top with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Cook shrimp separately to avoid overcooking.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for smoother sauce texture.
  • Add pasta water slowly to control sauce thickness.
  • Cajun seasoning can be added for extra flavor.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of milk or water.
