Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread evenly in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, heavy cream (if using), brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set and lightly golden.
- Warm icing packets slightly and drizzle over the casserole while warm.
- Serve immediately.
