Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¾ cup milk or half-and-half
  • ½ cup heavy cream optional, for extra richness
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • Icing packets from the cinnamon roll cans
  • Optional: powdered sugar or chopped nuts for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread evenly in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, heavy cream (if using), brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set and lightly golden.
  7. Warm icing packets slightly and drizzle over the casserole while warm.
  8. Serve immediately.
