Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread Batter:
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup melted butter or oil
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

Step 1. Preheat Oven
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
Step 2. Prepare Wet Ingredients
  1. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
Step 3. Combine Dry Ingredients
  1. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Step 4. Make Batter
  1. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Step 5. Prepare Cinnamon Swirl
  1. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Step 6. Layer Batter
  1. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture evenly over it.
Step 7. Add Remaining Batter
  1. Pour remaining batter on top and sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
Step 8. Swirl
  1. Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture through the batter.
Step 9. Bake
  1. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 10. Cool and Serve
  1. Let cool before slicing for best texture.
