Step 1. Cook Pasta
- Boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
Step 2. Cook Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until golden and fully cooked, then remove and set aside.
Step 3. Make Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, Dijon mustard, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
Step 4. Combine Pasta
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Step 5. Add Chicken and Cheese
- Return chicken to the pan. Add Parmesan cheese and reserved pasta water. Mix until the sauce becomes smooth and slightly creamy.
Step 6. Finish
- Stir in fresh parsley and adjust seasoning if needed.
Step 7. Serve
- Serve warm with extra Parmesan if desired.
