Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs 700g chicken breasts or thighs
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta for serving
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

Step 1. Prepare Crockpot
  1. Lightly grease the crockpot or ensure it is clean and ready.
Step 2. Add Chicken
  1. Place chicken in an even layer at the bottom of the crockpot.
Step 3. Add Sauce Ingredients
  1. Add cream cheese and butter on top of the chicken. Sprinkle Italian dressing mix and pour in chicken broth.
Step 4. Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
Step 5. Shred Chicken
  1. Remove chicken, shred using two forks (or keep whole), then return to the crockpot and mix with sauce.
Step 6. Cook Pasta
  1. Prepare angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
Step 7. Serve
  1. Serve chicken and creamy sauce over cooked pasta.
