Prepare the Wings
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Lightly season them with salt, pepper, or garlic powder.
Add to Crockpot
- Lightly grease the crockpot and place the wings inside, spreading them as evenly as possible.
Add BBQ Sauce
- Pour barbecue sauce over the wings and gently toss to coat evenly.
Slow Cook
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until wings are fully cooked and tender.
Optional Broil Step
- For firmer texture, transfer wings to a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes, flipping once.
Serve
- Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
Notes
Do not add water or broth; wings release enough moisture naturally.
Add extra BBQ sauce at the end for a stronger glaze.
Broiling is optional but improves texture.
Great for parties because wings stay warm in the crockpot.
