- (Optional but recommended) Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly brown the ground turkey until just cooked. Drain excess liquid.
- Add the cooked turkey to the crockpot along with beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, onion, garlic, and all spices.
- Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chili is thick and flavorful.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
Notes
Browning turkey adds extra depth but can be skipped for a dump-and-go version
Mash some beans to naturally thicken the chili
Add sour cream or Greek yogurt for a creamy finish
Chili tastes even better the next day
