Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup red onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño minced (optional)
  • ¼ cup tomato seeded and finely diced (optional)

Method
 

Step 1. Prepare the Avocados
  1. Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
Step 2. Mash the Avocados
  1. Use a fork to mash until mostly smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture.
Step 3. Add Lime and Salt
  1. Stir in lime juice and salt until evenly combined.
Step 4. Add Mix-Ins
  1. Gently fold in red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño if using. Add tomato last if desired.
Step 5. Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed. Serve immediately.
