  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk or water
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 ripe banana sliced
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: cinnamon or honey

Method
 

  1. Add oats, milk or water, and a pinch of salt to a saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until fully melted and combined.
  4. Add banana slices, stirring some into the oatmeal and reserving some for topping.
  5. Adjust thickness with a splash of milk if needed and serve warm.
