Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cooked or canned salmon drained and flaked
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon mustard optional
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
For Frying:
  • 2 –3 tablespoons oil
Optional Add-ins:
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper for spice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method
 

Step 1. Prepare Salmon
  1. Drain canned salmon thoroughly and flake it into a mixing bowl. Remove any large bones if needed.
Step 2. Mix Ingredients
  1. Add egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Step 3. Shape Balls
  1. Form the mixture into small balls (about 1–2 inches). Press gently so they hold their shape.
Step 4. Heat Oil
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
Step 5. Cook
  1. Place salmon balls in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, turning carefully, until golden brown.
Step 6. Drain
  1. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 7. Serve
  1. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
