Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Mango Salsa
  • 1 ripe mango diced
  • 2 tablespoons red onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
1 small jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)

Method
 

Step 1. Prepare the Salsa
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and optional jalapeño. Stir gently and set aside.
Step 2. Season the Salmon
  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Step 3. Heat the Pan
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 4. Cook the Salmon
  1. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Step 5. Plate the Salmon
  1. Transfer the cooked salmon to serving plates.
Step 6. Add the Mango Salsa
  1. Spoon the prepared mango salsa over the salmon fillets.
Step 7. Serve
  1. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.
